Sig introduced the Foxtrot, a compact weapon-mounted light for pistol use, a minute ago and it has faced a ton of serious competition from the likes of Inforce, Streamlight, SureFire, O-Light, and tons of Wish.com level light makers.
Now trying to go the extra mile, Sig has the Foxtrot 2.
What makes it so great? Well, Sig fanboys will love it for sure no matter what, but the features for those not blinded by the brand include the ability to mount to any Picatinny 1913 rail with no need for adapters or cross-slot modifications and a 580 lumen/13,000 Candela light programmable with tree user-defined modes: Momentary, Latching, and Threshold.
It has four interchangeable paddles and runs on a single CR123.
Cost is like $160, which isn’t great compared to some other options out there– you can get a 500-lumen Streamlight TLR-8 with both a white LED and red active laser for about that, or a 500-lumen Inforce WILD1 for about $30 less– but, Sig.
