Sig Sauer Romeo 4, Now in AAA

Sig Sauer’s Oregon-based electro-optics division has been around since just 2014 but in that time has debuted over two dozen different increasingly better Romeo red dots (for both rifles and pistols), Juliett magnifiers, Echo rangefinders, and Whiskey rifle scopes.

When it comes to the Romeos, the company just dropped a new version, the Romeo 4XT Pro, which uses a single AAA battery rather than the tougher-to-find (especially in remote areas) CR2032 which is standard on other models.

You still get a 50,000-hour lifespan off that one AAA. Meanwhile, Sig has moved the controls on the sight to the 12 o’clock position to make it more ambi-friendly.

A “mil-spec” waterproof sight with three different NV settings in addition to nine daylight settings, Sig is offering the Romeo 4XT Pro in both black and flat dark earth with a price range of around $600.
