Vortex Optics has a new micro red dot in the catalog: Defender CCW. It uses an RMS footprint, offers choices in either a 3 or 6 MOA red dot reticle variants, and has what the company says “delivers the biggest sight window in its class for both-eyes shooting and enhanced peripheral vision.”
Auto-Shutoff is at 14 hours and has a motion activation feature. The battery is top-loaded which means you don’t have to take the sight off to change it out. It includes 8 different illumination settings.
The MSRP is $349, while the minimum advertised pricing is $249.
