FN Compensates…with the new FN 509 CC

FN USA has a new model FN 509 series gun that competes nicely against Sig Sauer’s new and popular compensated carry guns, namely the P365 Specter Comp and the P365 XMacro.

Sort of a shrunken version of the company’s FN 509 LS Edge long slide, the new FN 509 CC (Compensated Carry) Edge one-ups Sig as its compensator is easily removed for cleaning while the P365 comp models use a fixed design built into the slide.

The optics-ready FN 509 CC Edge also is easy on the eyes with a 4.2-inch gold-color Titanium Nitride PVD barrel, lightening cuts on the slide to show it off and cut split times, and a flat-faced trigger with a 90-degree break. It ships with 12-round and 15-round mags with machined aluminum base pads.

They also have a very Sig Sauer price, with an MSRP of $1,569.
