From the NRAAM 2022 Show Floor

While the NRA has its well-deserved cross to bear when it comes to being a lightning rod both among anti-gun types and many gun enthusiasts on the other side of the aisle, the group’s politics and practices aside, its recent Annual Meetings and Exhibits in Houston, aka “The NRA Convention/Show” had a lot of new products that were exhibited to the public for the first time. Notably, many of these companies had skipped SHOT Show earlier this year due to COVID concerns.Without further disclaimer:

Anderson AM-10 GEN 2 Series

Kentucky-based Anderson derided as the makers of the “poverty pony” line of AR-15s and components, now has a new value line of AR-10 style all-up rifles.

The new AM-10 Gen 2s come in three variants chambered in .308 Winchester. All include a K2 grip (compatible with all AR-15 grips), DPMS-high standard upper rail height, and a flared magwell. The three variants include:

AM-10 Battle Rifle: 16-inch barrel, Magpul MOE stock, “ideal for general use and home defense.”

AM-10 Ranger: 18-inch barrel, Magpul MOE stock, “providing a multi-purpose option for long-range and home defense situations.”

AM-10 Marksman XL: 20-inch barrel “perfect for hunting and precision/long-range shooting.”
