New Sig Sauer ZEV P226

ZEV Technologies makes a lot of the Gucci-level custom guns that are increasingly popping up in video games, movies, and action shows.

They have now teamed up with Sig Sauer– a company that is striving to be seen as not just a Mil/LE supplier anymore– to produce a special version of a classic, the P226.

While the pistol has been around since the Reagan Administration, it is fairly dated, but the ZEV treatment gives it an optics-ready ZEV slide equipped with Sig’s Romeo1PRO micro red dot and co-witnessed fiber optic sights.

The gun is single-action-only with ambi frame-mounted safeties, which is a departure from the DAO and DA/SA models of the P226 that are already out there.

The 4.9-inch barrel is threaded (1/2x28TPI), and the pistol ships with a flat-faced trigger and ZEV Tech G10 grips.
