Century Arms gets a bad rap when it comes to their Kalashnikov-based platforms, and for good reason. While the ones Century makes themselves tend to often have QC issues when given anything other than minor wear and tear, the ones they import almost completely intact from overseas makers like CUGIR in Romania seem to be a lot better.
Speaking of Romania, that’s where Century gets all their Draco AK pistols from (Romania is home to Transylvania and Vlad III, commonly known as Vlad the Impaler— the basis for the fictional Dracula– is seen as a national folk hero as some, hence the name).
While Century had marketed a 9mm blowback pistol caliber Draco as the NAK9, it used a Glock mag. Now, they have the Draco 9S, which runs CZ Scorpion EVO 3 mags. The ask is $740, garlic not included.
