Just 30 years ago, lever-action guns were all but dead, with Browning and Mossberg getting out of the market, Winchester only making some limited collector runs of guns in Japan, and Marlin off being Marlin. Since then, Henry has come on the scene, Marlin was bought by Remington and then by Ruger, Mossberg has gotten back in the game, and new overseas makers have appeared in places like Turkey.
Speaking of which, G-force Arms, a Nevada-based importer of budget shotguns from Turkey, is now bringing in a new line of “tactical” lever action .410s dubbed the Huckleberry. Offered in a bunch of different finishes and with either a 20- or 24-inch barrel, they hold either 7+1 or 6+1 shells in an underbarrel mag tube. The “tactical” comes from the fact that they use a skeletonized butt stock capable of holding eight spare shells while an aluminum forend has top and bottom Picatinny-ish rails and a bunch of M-LOK-ish accessory slots on the side.
The cost isn’t listed but expect it to be in the $700 range.
