A 2011 that uses P320 Mags: Meet the Oracle Arms 2311

Nevada gunmaker Oracle Arms plans to make a splash at SHOT Show with a new 2011 (double-stack 9mm SAO 1911 pistol) that– spoiler alert– uses Sig Sauer P320-pattern 21-round magazines.

The reason that is a big deal is that, even Sig-marked P320 mags can be found for about $35, which, while not as cheap as Glock double stacks, is still only about a third that of $99+ mags for the 20-round Staccato 2011 series. Besides, the P320 mag is reliable enough for the military, whereas a lot of 2011 mags have well-documented issues.

While Oracle is a new player in the field, they say the 2311 will be in five 9mm configurations: Compact, Compact Elite, Combat, Combat Elite, and Competition, all fully ambi and optics ready.

We will have more details on these from SHOT Show.
